Vincent Xavier Deliz

As an technology lover for all these years I never thought I would be learning some background of Health and medical. I honestly cannot say too much about this, except that I am glad that I found this path. I fully understood what I wanted to do right when summer classes actually began. This opens up a new journey for myself and surprisingly it is a journey I have never considered. As I still about the road the ahead, I recently recalled that I actually have some small amount of experience in this field already. As every student in Florida knows, in order to graduate high school one must put in some volunteering hours at a certain location and I decided to mine in the summer before my senior year. The location was a nonprofit organization called Hispanics Health Initiatives, that focused on families who couldn't afford most or no medical attention. As a volunteer I was solely focused on the computer side of their work and little did I realized that I was actually managing a little information for them. Even if most of my time was behind a computer, I did indeed help families as well. Thinking back now, maybe it was no coincidence that I did my volunteering there. Perhaps, it was meant as preview of the journey that I decided to embark only a few months ago.
